Mike Toth

Mike Toth is an experienced private investigator based in Billings, MT, serving clients across Montana and nearby states. Specializing in private businesses and government HR investigations, Toth is adept at conducting comprehensive and confidential workplace inquiries, ensuring fairness and compliance, as well as performing background checks and obtaining essential documents.

Leveraging over 20 years of experience in law enforcement, including roles as a Patrol Officer, Detective, and Sheriff, Toth delivers top-notch investigative services aimed at enhancing the success of his attorney clients.

Toth gained recognition by appearing on the Oxygen Network’s show “Murdered & Missing in Montana.”

During his tenure as Sheriff in Montana, Toth led a 20-member department in the western part of the state, where he was responsible for training and managing the operations of an 8-man patrol division and a jail housing 27 inmates. Prior to this, he served as a Deputy in Montana, a Patrol Officer in Seattle, WA, and later transitioned to a detective role in the Major Property Crime Unit in a nearby suburb.
